Friday, 4 Nov 1910 Volume 44, Number 43 Mrs. Kirsch Dead Mrs. Francisca Kirsch, a pioneer of Barr Township, died at her home near Nicktown last Friday morning at the age of 80 years. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Monday morning in St. Nicolas' Church. The deceased, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis X. Strittmatter, was born near Bradley Junction, removing to her late home when she was married to John Kirsch. Her husband has been dead twenty-two years. Surviving are the following children: John P. of Dover, Del.; Mrs. Catherine Nealen of Barr Township; Sister Mary Agnes of St. Vincent's Asylum, Boston, Mass.; Sister Mary Demetria of St. Joseph's Hospital, Tacoma, Wash.; Augustine P. of Stayton, Ore.; Andrew S. and Anselem B. of Barr Township. Two children died in infancy. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. John Illig of Carrolltown; Peter, Andrew and Augustin Strittmatter of Carroll Township and Paul of Patton.
