EDWARD L. KOONS

Of Gallitzin, R.D., died at the Cresson sanatorium at 9.43 o'clock 
Saturday evening.  He was born June 6, 1889, a son of F. J. and Ora 
Koons, in Cambria county and was married June 14, 1913, to Anna Ansman 
at Loretto.  Surviving are his widow and the following children: Louis 
and Robert, at home, Mrs. Mirvin J. Itle and Mrs. Merle J. Byrnes, both 
of Loretto; three grandchildren and the following brothers and sister, 
Chester of Gallitzin, Robert of Cresson and Marian Walker of Altoona.  
He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic church at Loretto.  Friends 
will be received at the home.


KOONS - Funeral services for Edward L. Koons of Gallitzin, R.D., will 
be held at St. Michael's Catholic church, Loretto, Wednesday morning at 
9 o'clock.  Interment in St. Michael's cemetery, Loretto.  Friends are 
being received at the home, Gallitzin, R.D.
