Death of Howard Lewis

Joseph Howard Lewis died at the home of his brother, John 
A. Lewis in Cambria township, Tuesday morning after an 
illness of several months from tuberculosis, aged 26 years.  
The deceased was the son of David and Eliza Lewis and was 
born in Cambria township, the 27th of February, 1881.  He 
was married June 1, 1905 to Margaret Good, who survives 
him, as do also his parents, mentioned above, and two 
brothers, John A. and Orton, and four sisters, namely, 
Mary, wife of Charles Knorr; Martha of Ebensburg; Catharine 
and Margaret of Cambria township.  One brother, William, 
died the 7th of December, 1906, from tuberculosis.

The deceased was a member of the I. O. O. F. and the I. O. 
H. of this place. The funeral took place Thursday afternoon 
at 2 o'clock.

Funeral services were held in the Congregational Church, 
being in charge of the I. O. O. F. who attended the funeral 
in a body, as did also the I. O. H.
