The mountain sentinel: (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1844-1853: January 20, 1853
At his residence in Allegheny township, Cambria county, on the 14th inst., Mr.
Samuel McMullen, at the age of 92 years. The deceased was the oldest inhabitant of
the mountains: and was a citizen of Cambria county at the time of its organization.
He was a member of the first Board of County Commissioners, and through his long
life a much esteemed citizen of the community.
