The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: November 25, 1869
On Tuesday, 23rd inst., at his residence in Cambria township, Mr. Alexander
McVicker, aged 67 years. Mr. McVicker was a native of Bedford county and removed to
this place in the year 1841. He was a tanner by trade and carried on that business
for a number of years. He then purchased a farm two miles west of town and devoted
his entire attention to agricultural pursuits. He enjoyed the respect and confidence
of the community and has left behind him the reputation of a good citizen and an
honest man.
