Democrat and sentinel: (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1853-1866: August 22, 1855
At Hemlock, Monday 20th inst., at the residence of his brother John Mullen, Michael
Mullen, aged about 23 years. The deceased had been employed as locomotive fireman on
the Portage Rail Road; while engaged in his business early in May last, he fell
among the machinery whilst the engine was in motion and received the injuries which
resulted in his death...
