Local Brevities.

Cut His Throat With a Butcher Knife.

On Tuesday night William McNeelis, of Clearfield township, Cambria 
county, committed suicide by cutting his throat with a butcher knife.  
He was a very industrious man and owner of one of the best farms in 
that county.  His age was about 65 years.  There is no cause known as 
to why he should have committed the rash act.  For the above item of
