Moore, a well known railroader of South Fork, was struck and instantly killed at 8 o'clock Sunday morning near Cresson just after alighting from his train. It is thought that the unfortunate young man saw the oncoming passenger train and believed he would have sufficient time to leave his train and cross the other side ahead of the passenger train.
