Friday, 9 Aug 1912 Volume 45, Number 31 Death of Bernard O'Hagan Bernard O'Hagan died Sunday at his home in Brookline, north side, Pittsburg, following a long illness of Brights' disease. Bernard O'Hagan was a native of Cambria county, having been born 65 years ago near Gallitzin. He was connected with the coal industry in the county for a number of years, having served as store manager for the Taylor & McCoy Co., at Gallitzin and later as superintendent of mines at Frugality. Resigning his position at Frugality, he entered the service as an accountant for the Crucible Steel company in the Frick building, Pittsburg. Bernard O'Hagan and Miss Rebecca Braniff of Altoona were married in St. John's Catholic church, Altoona, in 1876. Mrs. O'Hagan and the following children survive: Faber, Edgar, Walter, Bernard, Clare, Lorene, Sister Mary Eucharia of the Charity order, Greensburg, and Andria. The funeral took place from the family home, 711 Berkshire Ave., Brookline, Wednesday, with a mass at the Church of the Resurrection. Interment was made in a Pittsburg cemetery.
