(Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: April 08, 1871 We are grieved to learn of the death of Mr. Thomas Quinn, an old and highly respected citizen of Johnstown, which occurred at his residence in that place at 9 o'clock on Wednesday night last. Mr. Quinn had been in feeble health for several months past, but was not compelled to take to his bed until very recently. His age was about 73 years, and he was one of the oldest residents of Johnstown, having came there when the place was a mere hamlet to what it now is. He was a sober, industrious and virtuous man, and a model Christian, and we trust that he has gained an immortality of peace and rest beyond the grave.
