Conemaugh Boy Drowns 

While bathing at the edge of the Conemaugh River, a short 
distance above Conemaugh at 7:30 o'clock Sunday evening, 
Walter Zane, the 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Zane 
of Second and Oak Streets, Conemaugh, was precipitated into 
the water and drowned before aid could reach him.
