Friday, 2 Jun 1905 Volume 39, Number 21 Eloped to Cumberland The latest elopement in Cambria will no doubt occasion considerable surprise to Ebensburg people. Yesterday morning J. Alvin McMullen, the genial warden at the county jail, proceeded to Conemaugh where he was joined by his bride-to-be, Miss Rosetta Hamor of Nantyglo, who had preceded him to the Iron Horse Town and the pair proceeded to Cumberland on the 2 o'clock train over the B. & O. from Johnstown yesterday afternoon and were quietly married. The whole affair was kept a secret until after the ceremony. The bride is the stepdaughter of Doss Kammer of Nantyglo and the groom is well and favorably known in Cambria county. He has been official warden at the county jail in Ebensburg for some time. The happy couple will take up their residence in Ebensburg.
