Greer Emma Louise, widow of James P. Greer, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Naomi Martin, Pottstown, yesterday afternoon about 1:15 o’clock. Mrs. Greer had not been in good health for some time. Several weeks ago she suffered several light strokes and yesterday morning another from which she failed to rally. She was 69 years old. Mrs. Greer, daughter of the late John and Mary Fulmer, was born in Phoenixville. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She is survived by the following children: James Greer, of 325 St. Mary’s Street, Harry Greer, of Bridgeport, Conn., Miss Catherine Greer, at home and Mrs. Naomi Martin, of Pottstown, also one sister and one brother, Mrs. Catherine King and John Fulmer, of 14 High Street, and 16 grandchildren. A grandson, Carroll L. Leizear, is in the United States Army, Camp Meade, Md. The funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 9 o’clock from the residence of her son, James Greer, 325 St. Mary’s Street. High Requiem Mass will follow at St. Mary’s Church at 10 o’clock. Interment will be at St. Mary’s cemetery. Friends may call on Friday evening. Additional Comments: posted without abstraction by permission of the family.
