VILLAGE RECORD newspaper, 5/15/1866: LONGEVITY - Mrs. Mary JONES died March 26, at the house of her son-in-law, Daniel LANDIS, in North Coventry, Chester county - lacking but one month of a hundred years old. She was a native of Coventry township, and her memory extended to a period beyond the Revolution - and she could recollect the soldiers to whom she sold berries when a child. She outlived all of her contemporaries, and sunk to her rest with the respect of all her relatives and friends.
