It is again our sad duty to read the death of another prominent citizen. Last week we mentioned the serious illness of Warren A. Lamb and after the last paper was printed came the sad intelligence that he had passed from this earth. Warren A. Lamb was born at White Haven, Luzerne County, Sept. 12, 1848, and died at Penfield, Pa. January 3, 1903. He came to Penfield in 1864 and lived with his uncle Hiram Woodward. He was a son of Mrs. Wm. Roberts and was a hard working man, both a farmer and a business man. For many years he was engaged in butchering at this place and had a host of friends. He was married to Jennie Brown, who, with four children, William, Harlan, George and Grace and the aged mother and one brother survive. The funeral was held at the home on Tuesday afternoon in charge of Rev's. Bell and Caldwell and undertaker Joyce.
