OVERDORF.

  Miss Madeline Overdorf, a student nurse in the Altoona hospital, died 
early yesterday morning at the hospital of pneumonia, following 
influenza, the student being taken ill while at her work on Oct. 11.  
She was aged 24 years and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam 
Overdorf of Mehaffey [Mahaffey].  She entered the student corps in the 
institution but three weeks ago.  Surviving are the parents, Adam and 
Martha Overdorf of Mehaffey, and the following brothers and sisters: 
Mrs. J. Lennon of Cherry Tree, Miss Nettie, nurse in Philadelphia, 
Herbert of Mehaffey, Daniel of Newark, N.J., Sergeant Lynn Overdorf of 
Camp Lee and Stewart, in the navy headquarters, Chicago.  The remains 
will be taken to Mehaffey at 7.15 o'clock this morning.
