GADD Suddenly stricken with a heart attack early Saturday morning in his home near New Salem, Edgar E. Gadd, 70, died within a few inutes. He complained to his wife that "something bursted in here" (pointing to his left side). She arose and administered soda but life faded within a few minutes. Mr. Gadd was an H. C. Frick pensioner, having been employed a number of years at the Buffington plant. He had lived virtually all of life near New Salem. Mr. Gadd is survived by his widow, Luna Oliver Gadd and the following children: Mrs. Edgar Harn and Harold Gadd of Warren, O.; Edgar Gadd of Leavittsburg, Ohio; Mrs. Ralph Sterling of Granttown, W. Va., and Mrs. Frank Johnson and Donald Gadd of New Salem. One sister, Maude of Pittsburgh and two brothers, Albert O. and J. Howard also survive. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock in his late home. Rev. Kilgore officiated. The burial was in New Salem cemetery. Gadd, aged 70 years died Saturday morning, December 24, 1932 at his home near New Salem from a heart attack. The deceased in survived by his wife, Luna Olive Gadd and seven children: Mrs. Edgar Harn, Harold Gadd, Warren, Ohio; Edgar Gadd, Leavittsburg, Ohio; Mrs. Ralph Sterling, Grant Town, W. Va.; Mrs. Walter Gilleland, Uniontown; Mrs. Frank Johnson, and Donald Gadd, New Salem; one sister, Maud M. Gadd, Pittsburgh, and two brothers, Albert O. Gadd, Bethelboro and J. Howard Gadd, New Salem. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Gadd home. Interment will be in the New Salem cemetery.
