It was later photocopied and given to me in 2002. It is a transcription of this photocopied original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. Frank M. Gadd Frank M. Gadd, aged 34 years, died at noon Saturday, April 11, 1908, at his home on Dunkard avenue after a short illness. He was born in Luzerne township and learned the blacksmith trade under his father, S. I. Gadd, who is now 84 years of age and still works occasionally at the blacksmith trade which he began 71 years ago at the age of 13 years and has followed continuously ever since. The two surviving brothers of the deceased, Stephen and George Gadd of Uniontown, and a half brother, William Moss of Washington county, are also blacksmiths. Frank Gadd married Miss Bessie West of Brownsville seven years ago. They lived in Brownsville until about three years ago, when they moved to Uniontown. Besides his father and mother, and two brothers Frank is survived by four sisters. Funeral from the home Monday at 4 p. m. with services by Rev. W. Scott Bowman and Dr. J. C. Mackey and interment private in Oak Grove cemetery. The pallbearers were Senator W. E. Crow, Attorney Wooda N. Carr, Gottlieb Schmid, Constable Judson Sisler, Orlando Colley and alter Prentice.
