I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. WHETZELL, GEORGE Age 83 years of Merrittstown, Pa., died Friday, June 13, 1975 at 2:30 a.m. in the Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was the son of the late George A. and Elizabeth Cranston Whetzell. He was born in Trotter, Pa. on June 28, 1892. He was a Veteran of World War I, U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 590, Republic. Smithfield United Methodist Church. He was a retired Store Manager for the Crescent Supply. Surviving is his wife, Mary Kelly Whetzell; a son, George, West Hyattsville, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Betty) Feduska, Pittsburgh, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Jean Matthews, Smithfield; seven grandchildren; a great grandchild, Kerrie. He was predeceased by the following brother and sisters, Chester Whetzell, Katherine Huhn, Mary Nixon, and Nell Morgan. Friends will be received in the Carlo J. Marucci Funeral Home, Route 166, Republic, today 5 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 11 a.m. the hour of service. Rev. Richard Downing will officiate. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park. Military Rites at the Graveside by the American Legion 590 Republic.
