D. E. G. Seibert was born August 28, 1865, in Chambersburg, the son of Joseph Warren and Louisa (Little) Seibert. He received his education in Chambersburg High School and then studied pharmacy, graduating Ph. G., 1887, from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. Deciding to study medicine, he entered Columbia University, (now George Washington University), Washington, D. C., and was graduated M. D., 1893, from this institution. Dr. Seibert began practice in Washington, D. C., in 1900 and has been located in that city ever since, and now specializes in eye, ear, nose and throat diseases. He entered the medical service in the World War as Captain, June 2, 1917, and was discharged Lt. Colonel on Feb. 28, 1919. He served as Executive Officer, Medical Research Board, Air Service, U. S. A., September, 1917, to February, 1919. Since April 19, 1919, he has held a commission as Colonel in the Medical Reserve Corps. Dr. Seibert is a member of the Medical Society of Washington, D. C., and is a member of Rocky Spring Chapter, Sons of American Revolution. He is a Republican in politics and a member of the German Reformed Church. March 5, 1904, he married Jessie Eastman Hopkins. His present address is 1817 Nineteenth Street, N. W., Washington, D. C. Dr. Seibert is a consultant to the Chambersburg Hospital for diseases of ear, eye, nose and throat.
