HON. JOHN BESORE died at his residence in Youngstown, Ohio, Thursday, October 15 
and his remains were brought to Waynesboro Saturday for interment.  Mr. Besore 
was a son of the late Jacob Besore, of Waynesboro, and moved west about twenty 
years ago, where he became prominent as a business man, being a member of the 
firm of Brown, Bonnell & Co.  He served as mayor of Youngstown several terms, 
and filled various positions of trust.  He is survived by his wife, nee 
Katharine Oellig*, daughter of Dr. John Oelig*; one brother, Jacob, residing at 
Youngstown, and two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Stoner, Waynesboro, and Miss Laura 
Besore, Jackson Hall.
