MARX.

Mary Elizabeth Marx died on Sunday afternoon at her home on East Washington 
street, aged 76 years, 11 months and 3 days.  She was born in Hesse, Darmstadt, 
Germany.  Her husband, Louis Marx, died in December last.  Mrs. Marx was a 
member of the Second Lutheran church and was a noble woman, and was much 
respected by all who knew her.  She is survived by the following children:  
George, Springfield, Ohio; Mrs. A. A. Scheuerman, Mary, Kate, Mrs. Charles Duke 
and Jacob Marx, all of town.  Her funeral was held on Wednesday.  Interment in 
Cedar Grove cemetery.
