NELSON

Mrs. Matilda A. Nelson died at the home of her nephew, Dr. H. C. Devilbiss, East 
Market street, Chambersburg, on Sunday evening, aged 75 years and 2 months.  Her 
death was caused by a stroke of paralysis received on Friday evening.  Mrs. 
Nelson was the widow of Elisha Nelson, who died about 30 years ago.  She was an 
active member of the Central Presbyterian church and was deeply interested in 
everything calculated to further its interests.  She was buried in Cedar Grove 
cemetery on Tuesday.
