All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ________________________________________________ SAMUEL WALTER CREE Samuel Walter Cree, of 1310 Mifflin street, died in the Blair Memorial hospital on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 5:45 p.m., from the effects of Spanish influenza and pneumonia. Deceased was the son of Jonathan Elliott and Mary Cree, (both deceased), and was born in Huntingdon on July 1, 1889; being aged at the time of death 29 years, 3 months and 18 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Rachel Rupert, a daughter of Harry Rupert, deceased, and Mrs. Maude Rupert. They have resided in Huntingdon all their lives. Mr. Cree was an industrious and highly respected young man. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and one son, as follows: Hazel, aged 8 years; Clair, aged 6 years, and Ethel, aged about 18 months. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Thomas Decker, of Huntingdon; Harry Cree, of South Huntingdon; Mrs. Annita, wife of Al Fetterhoff, of Harrisburg; Mrs. Rhola, wife of Carl Vanlerwell; Charles, Cloyd and Arthur Cree, of Kalamazoo, Mich., John and William Cree, both of Hollidaysburg, and Jesse Cree, of Tyrone. The funeral service, which was private, was conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 by the Rev. L. M.
