Thomas Gray, a brakeman on the night shifter of the Pennsylvania, was run over and instantly killed about 2 o'clock Saturday morning in the railroad company's yard at Harrisburg. He had just uncoupled some cars from the shifter, and was running to the rear of the train, when, it is supposed, he fell between two cars and was run over. He was soon missed and his friends found, lying on the track, his body somewhat mangled. The Coroner held an inquest and rendered a verdict in accordance with the above facts. Mr. Gray was a resident of Huntingdon and his remains were taken there on the fast line Saturday afternoon. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Monday, November 8, 1880
