JOHN MANBECK Mrs. Jennie Moffet Manbeck, wife of John Manbeck, died at her home in Petersburg at 12:25 Sunday noon of diabetes, after a serious illness of only a few days. She was the daughter of the late Hiram and Lydia Moffet, and was born at Shaver's Creek, Huntingdon county, April 16, 1867. She was united in marriage on February 8, 1900, to John Manbeck, who survives her with one son, Horace F. These brothers survive: Warren J. Moffet, of Elwood City; Howard F., of Tipton; Mahlon L., of Bellwood; Frank E., of Marysville; Mrs. Manbeck had been a member of the Petersburg Presbyterian church since childhood and was one of the leaders of its auxiliary organizations. Funeral service will be held at the home at 10:30 Wednesday morning, conducted by the Rev. Ford. Interment in Petersburg cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Monday, April 13, 1925
