She had been in failing health for several years, and had been seriously ill since June of last year. The deceased was born May 8, 1880, in Fulton County, a daughter of John H. and Caroline (Hann) Minnick. Miss Minnick never married, but devoted her life to the rearing of these five nephews and nieces: John Minnick, James Minnick, Mrs. Bessie Stonebreaker, James L. Minnick, and Thelma Minnick. Miss Minnick was a member of the First Methodist Church of Mount Union. She had been a resident of Mount Union for 47 years. One sister, Mrs. William Twigg of Hyndman, and one brother, Howard Minnick of Mount Savage, Maryland, survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 13, at 3:00 p.m. in the Clark funeral home in Mount Union. Her pastor, the Rev. W. Murray Young, will officiate and interment will be made in the IOOF Cemetery at Mount Union.
