Those Who Have Crossed to the Other Shore. JOHN NIPPLE. Mr. John Nipple died at his residence on Moore street, at 6 o'clock on the morning of the 7th inst. He had been in impaired health for a year or more, but was still able to follow his occupation, that of teamster, until quite recently. About a week previous to his death he was attacked with malaria and suffered from chills and fevers, but his friends were hopeful of his recovery and his sudden demise was unlooked for. He was a member of the 110th Reg. Pa. Vols., and carried the wounds of battle upon his person. He was buried Saturday morning by Geo. Simpson Post No. 44, G.A.R., of which organization he was an active member.
