Parson, 76, of Dry Run, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 1976 in the Leader Health Care Center, Chambersburg, after an illness of four months. She was born July 20, 1900 in Huntingdon County to Charles W. and Nannie Mae (Flood) Cisney. She was married to Mirble S. Parson, who preceded her in death in 1938. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Blanche Smith, Dry Run; two granddaughters and one grandson; a sister, Mrs. Alfaretta Walters of Shade Gap; three brothers, James Cisney and Clyde Cisney, both of Blairs Mills, and Foster Cisney of Chambersburg and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Parson was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, in Tell Township, Huntingdon County. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27 from the Salem United Methodist Church. The Rev. Charles Rhodes will officiate and interment will be made in the Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 7 p.m. today at the John L.
