Porter Seeds, youngest son of Hugh E. and Martha Seeds, old time residents and prominent citizens of Franklin township, Huntingdon county, who have passed to their last home many years ago, and brother of our townsmen, John E. Seeds, died at his home in Williamsport, Saturday at 11 o'clock p.m. The remains will be brought to this place on the Bald Eagle express to-day at noon and taken to the home of his brother, on Spring street, where funeral service will be held at 2.30, to be conducted by Revs. George Leidy and J. R. Davies, after which interment in Tyrone cemetery. [sic] Mr. Seeds was aged 52 years, 1 month and 14 days, and leaves surviving two sons and two brothers - John E., of this place, and Alexander, of Kansas, and one sister, Mrs. E. W.
