C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. She had been seriously ill, and had been a patient in the hospital for about two weeks. The deceased was born July 24, 1895, at Robertsdale, a daughter of John and Margaret (Wright) Noel. She was twice married, the first union being to William E. Hinish, who preceded her in death November 23, 1937. The second marriage was to Harry Smouse in June of 1942. Mrs. Smouse attended the Church of God at Six Mile Run. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 556 of Six Mile Run, and was president of the Broad Top Sportsmen's Auxiliary. Her second husband and these children to the first marriage survive: Mrs. Irvin Cornelius of Maddensville; Mrs. Leo O'Brien of 3403 Washington Street, Huntingdon; William K. Hinish of Irwin and Mrs. Donald Brantner of Fort Knox, Kentucky. Two children preceded her in death. Nine grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: John Noel, Dewey Noel and George Noel, all of Mansfield, Ohio; Mrs. Henry Yoder of Lewistown and Mrs. Paul Schucker of McConnellstown. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20, at 2:30 p.m. in the Church of God at Six Mile Run. The Reverend C. N. Greider, pastor of the church, will have charge of the services and burial will be made in the Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run. Friends may call at the Huff Funeral Chapel in Saxton after 5 p.m. this Monday until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, and at the church from 11 a.m. on Wednesday until the hour of services.
