STATE NOTES.

  Jacob Walker, laborer at the Rockhill furnace, Orbisonia, Saturday 
morning fell from the stock house, and received such severe injuries to 
his skull that he died in about an hour thereafter.  He leaves a large 
family to mourn their loss.
