Death of a Gentleman in the West Who Had Relatives Here.

  On February 9, 1900, at his home in Carterville, Mo., Mr. S. S. 
Wilson died at the age of 55 years, 11 months and 9 days.  His funeral 
took place on the 11th inst., and was under the direction of the Grand 
Army post of that city.  Hr was a soldier in the civil war, having been 
a corporal in company E., Thirteenth Pennsylvania cavalry.  The cause 
of his death was consumption.  He is survived by his wife and a number 
of children.  He also leaves these sisters: Mrs. Chamberlain, of 
Warriorsmark; Mrs. Henderson, of Birmingham; Mrs. Stephens, of 
Clearfield county; Mrs. Harnish, of Cove Forge, Blair county.  J. M. 
Wilson, of 2010 Seventh avenue, is a brother, and a brother and sister 
also reside in Iowa.
