On Friday last James Wiser, a youth aged about 17 years, whose parents reside at or near Spruce Creek, was so unfortunate as to have his left though crushed between two ore dumps on the tram road between the ore mines and Frankstown. The injured lad lived until Monday morning, when death ended his sufferings. He had only been employed by the Blair Iron & Coal Company a few days previous.
