Mrs. Elizabeth Cross, while seated in a chair in the home of her son, Ernest
Forsha, of North Fifth street, Mrs. Elizabeth Cross, aged 70 years, died
suddenly from a heart attack on Friday afternoon. She had been a sufferer from
the malady for a number of years. The deceased, who was a life-long resident of
Indiana, had lived alone for a number of years on East Philadelphia street until
several weeks ago when she went to the home of her son. She held membership with
the Christian church and the funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev.
W. T. Merrick, at the Forsha home on Monday afternoon, followed by interment in
the Oakland cemetery. Besides her son she is survived by four sisters.
