Latrobe Bulletin Mon, Dec 19, 1977
Mrs. Ella P. (Millie) Devers, 88, of Blairsville R. D. 4, died Saturday in
Latrobe Area Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Derry Twp.
Sept. 15, 1889, daughter of James W. and Catherine Flowers. She was a lifelong
resident of Blairsville area and a member of SS. Simon and Jude Church in
Blairsville. Surviving are her husband, Edward A., and a number of nieces and
nephews. Friends are being received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in
Michael F. Hallow Funeral Home, Blairsville, where wake services will be held at
8 p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday in
SS. Simon and Jude Church, Blairsville, with the Rev. Louis W. Cheatham as
celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
