3-24-1989 Indiana Gazette
     Dollie Jeffries Hess, 87, of 357 Grant Street, Indiana, died Thursday, 
March 23, 1989, at Indiana Hospital.
     A daughter of George and Elizabeth Rittenhouse Jeffries, she was born 
April 24, 1901 in Rochester Mills.
     She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Edward (Etta Belle) Clement of 
Conway and Lee Anne Neese, Indiana.  Also two brothers: Robert of Punxsutawney 
and Harold of Glen Campbell and one sister, Mrs. Georgia Gardner, Hanover.
     She was preceded by husband Quinn A. Hess in 1953; four sons: Robert L., 
Quinn Jr.; George A.; Harvey E. and one daughter, Frances E.  Also preceded by 
three brothers: Jerry, Albert & Paul Jeffries; seven sisters: Margaret Gray, 
Edna Jamison, NellieFisher, Mary Pardee, Nola Lydic, Dorothy Little and 
Isabelle Berry.  Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery.
