Latrobe Bulletin Tue May 31 1949
Mrs. Mettie Belle McClune, of Blairsville, died Sunday, at 7 pm in the Clay
Poole Rest Home, Indiana. She was born in Indiana County, March 11, 1865, the
daughter of the late Isaac and Margaret Uncapher Stahl. She was a member of the
Methodist Church, in Blairsville, was a past matron of the Eastern Star, and was
also a member of the D. A. R. Two sons, Walter S. McClune, of Torrance and Ralph
E. McClune, of Blairsville, survive. Also surviving are two sisters: Mrs.
Elisabeth Stahl, of Indiana, and Mrs. Katherine Johnston, of Shelocta. Pa.; and
11 grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,
Blairsville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 2:30 p. m., with
Rev. John Hempstead officiating. Interment will be in the Blairsville cemetery.
