Mrs. Fannie Munshower, widow of Nicholas Munshower, died at her home in Center
township, on Thursday, at the age of 95 years, 3 months and 10 days. Mrs.
Munshower's maiden name was Fannie Howard. She was born in Westmoreland county
on July 25, 1810. In 1831 she was united in marriage to Nicholas Munshower, who
died in 1856. The deceased is survived by the following children: Mrs. Wilson
Cusic, of Johnstown; Mrs. James Altman, of Blairsville; Mrs. Margaret Yingling,
of Perrysville, Clarion county; Jacob and Sarah, at home; Mrs. Ursula Campbell
and Mrs. Elizabeth Gibson, of Homer City, and George W., of Bowling Green, O.
She is survived by 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services
were conducted at her late home by her pastor, Rev. Shaffer, of Homer City, on
Saturday, and interment followed in Oakland cemetery.
