She had been confined to bed the past two years, suffering from the effects of a stroke. She is a lineal descendant of Alexander McCamant, on of the pioneers of Eastern Lancaster County, who took up a tract of 300 acres in that section in 1733, and part of which has been in possession of his descendants ever since. A sister, Caroline who shared the old homestead with her sister, now remains the only survivor of the family. Her pastor, Rev. Wm Bullock, had charge of the services. Members of the church choir sang "Asleep in Jesus". Interment was made at Pequea Presbyterian Cemetery. Daily Local News, April 9, 1913
