Frey, 86 of Wenger Drive, Palmyra, died Monday, December 24, 2007, in the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra. Born August 9, 1921, in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Paul R. and Anna M. (Frederick) Frey. He retired as office manager from Carlos R. Leffler Inc., Richland, and was a graduate of the Central Pennsylvania Business College. He was an active member of Palmyra Church of the Brethren, where he was a member of the church's bowling team, baseball team and basketball team, served 30 years on the amplifying committee, chairman of the Missions and Service Commission, was a delegate to annual conference in Wichita, Kansas, a member of the Church Board Administration and the 100th anniversary committee. Kenneth and his wife, Miriam, served as church youth advisors and would supervise between 75 and 100 youth from several district churches at Camp Pine Woods each Sunday in the summer. He was a member of the brethren home independent living executive committee, was a 20-year member of the Palmyra Rotary Club with perfect attendance, and helped to serve at the Brethren Disaster Relief Auction. Kenneth was a wonderful husband of 63 years to his wife Miriam N. (Carper) Frey; a wonderful father to son Jeffrey Carper Frey, husband of Lenice of Riley, Kansas; and a grandfather to Rider, Elice and Eugenia Frey. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007, at the DiMatteo Worship Center of the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Spring Creek Cemetery, Hershey.
