Olesh, 76, of Bethel, went to be with her Lord & Savior, surrounded by her loving family, on December 20, 2007 at her home. She was the loving wife of Steve Olesh, and on December 31, they would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. Born in Richland on February 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Carrie Reedy Gettle. She was a member of the Meckville Mennonite Church, where she had taught the nursery Sunday School class for many years. Along with her husband they operated the family farm. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Jonathan J. husband of Cathy Olesh of Frystown and Stephen M. husband of Valerie Olesh of Bethel; Daughters Rebecca A. Olesh of Lebanon, Lydia M. Olesh of Bethel, Judith C. Klahr of Lebanon, Ruth A. wife of Gary Sholl of Mt. Aetna and Susan D. Olesh of Bethel; A brother Allen Gettle of Lebanon and sisters Emma Shirk of Myerstown, Marian Lux of Lebanon, Edith Boyer of Myerstown, Annetta Showers of Rexmont and Jeannetta Ginnetto of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Debra Joy Olesh, brothers Harry and Samuel Gettle and sisters Mildred Lutz and Anna Lutz. Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 27, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Meckville Mennonite Church. Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00- 8:00 PM at the Strauss-Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, 48 W. Market St. Jonestown, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, P.O.
