(Bowser) Linda S. (Bowser) Chubb, age 49, of 21 North Chestnut Street, Palmyra, died surrounded by her loving family in her residence on Friday, February 6, 2009. She is the wife of Jeffrey D. Chubb. She was born in Easton, Pa., on January 25, 1960, to Fred W. and Barbara A. (Eby) Bowser. She was employed full time at Mary K Interiors until 1993. She worked part time as a interior design consultant, and as a consultant for Creative Memories (photo scrapbooking) through 2008. She graduated from CD East High School Class of 1978, and Maryland Institute/College of Art 1983, where she received her bachelor's of fine art and interior design. She was a member and served on the Bethany Church of the Nazarene church board, a small group team leader of Compassionate Ministries, a member of the Derry Township Social Ministries, and the Maryland Institute/College of Art Alumni. She enjoyed helping others, volunteering for the food bank, photography, educational touring, family camping and boating, outdoor activities, walking the dog, and spending precious time with family and friends. Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey; her parents, Fred W. and Barbara A. Bowser of Hershey; her children, Caitlin N. Chubb and Elliot B. Chubb, at home; her sisters, Melanie, wife of Robert Myers of Lemoyne; Kelly Serafini of Hershey; and her brother, Michael, husband of Brenda Bowser of Harrisburg; 11 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at 4 p.m. at the Community Bible Church, 1849 S. Forge Road, Palmyra, with the Rev. Steve Kindt, Bethany Church of the Nazarene, officiating. A time for visitation will follow the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, PO Box 266, Enola, PA 17025; or to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1274, Lebanon PA 17042; or to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, General Treasurer Church of the Nazarene, 17001 Prairie Star Parkway, Lenexa, Kansas 66220.
