  E. Pauline Herr HERSHEY E. Pauline Herr, 89, of 231 Elm Ave., died Wednesday, 
  August 5, 2009, in Countryside Christian Community, N. Annville Twp. Born in 
  Hershey, on March 14, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Cora 
  Light Herr. She was a school teacher at Niagra Christian College, Canada; in 
  the Kenmore School District, Buffalo, N.Y.; and taught elementary school from 
  1966-1985 in the Derry Township School District. She was a graduate of Hershey 
  High School, Houghton College, N.Y., and received her Master's Degree in 
  Elementary Education from the University of Buffalo. Pauline was a dedicated 
  member of the Palmyra Brethren in Christ Church where she taught Sunday school 
  and Junior Church. Surviving are three nieces, Rose Marie Gingrich of Palmyra, 
  Barbara Mickelsen of Littleton, N.C., and Debra Azemar of Allentown; two 
  nephews, Denver W. Herr of Palmyra and Dr. John David Herr of Bellefonte; four 
  grandnephews; a greatgrandniece; and a greatgrandnephew. She was preceded in 
  death by two brothers, Denver L. Herr and John H. Herr, Jr.; and three sisters, 
  Sara E. Herr, Anna Hoover, and Cora Heagy. Funeral services will be held on 
  Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Palmyra Brethren in Christ Church, 616 W. Main 
  St., Palmyra, PA 17078. Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. 
  Viewing will be held on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the 
  church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her Church; or the 
  Countryside Christian Community, 200 Bellann Court, Annville, PA 17003. Kreamer 
  Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville, is in charge of arrangements.
