Mildred C. Kreiner, 85, of Elizabethtown died unexpectedly on Friday, January 23, 2009, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Fredericksburg, Lebanon County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mabel (Bashore) Edris. She was the wife of Dale H. Kreiner, and they celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary this past September. Mildred helped her husband on the family farm for many years before selling the farm. She then continued to work for 38 years for the former Donegal Industries of Mount Joy, before retiring in 2007. She was a member of Chiques Church of the Brethren, Manheim, helped her husband with woodcrafts, and enjoyed her family time and her home. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Gary, husband of Julia (Enck) Kreiner, Dennis, husband of Lynn (Herman) Kreiner, both of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Bonnie, wife of Joseph Faller of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; a brother, Lee Edris of Lebanon; and two sisters, Mary Bruckhart of Palmyra and Erma Fahnestock of Mount Joy. She was preceded in death by a sister, Verna Hostetter; and four brothers Elias, Rufus, Edward, and Kenneth Edris. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service from the Chiques Church of the Brethren, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim Pa., on Thursday January 29, 2009, at 7 p.m. with Ron A. Strickler and J. Becker Ginder officiating. Viewing and Interment will be private. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Please omit flowers; contributions in Mildred's memory may be sent to Chiques Church of the Brethren, Building Fund, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim PA 17545.
