  Evelyn A. Mellinger Evelyn A. Mellinger, 91, Willow Terrace, Lebanon, died 
  Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born 
  in Lebanon on March 3, 1918, daughter of the late Harry and Stella McGuinny 
  Demmy. She was a former employee of No-Mend Hosiery, Haak's Department Store 
  and Logan's. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Lebanon. She 
  is survived by two brothers, William Demmy of Lebanon, Robert Demmy of San 
  Antonio, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 
  beloved companion of many years, Herman Shutt; sisters Josephine Demmy, 
  Marguerite Oxenford, Mary Barr; brothers Richard, Allen and James Demmy. 
  Memorial services Saturday, March 21, 2009, at 2 p.m. in Bethany United 
  Methodist Church, 9 Mifflin St., Lebanon. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In 
  lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her church. The Rohland Funeral 
  Home Inc., Lebanon, is in charge of the arrangements.
