  Richard P. Zearfoss LEBANON Richard P. Zearfoss, 86, died Wednesday, September 
  2, 2009, at his home. He was born March 22, 1923, to the late Charles and Edith 
  Irene Kleinfelter Zearfoss in Quentin. Richard was a veteran of World War II 
  and was an iron worker for Local 404 in Harrisburg. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, 
  going for drives, gardening, and yard work. Surviving is son, Charles, spouse 
  of Gail Zearfoss of Lebanon; sister, Dorothy Daub of Lebanon; grandchildren, 
  Charles, spouse of Susan Zearfoss of Lexington, Ky., David, spouse of Sherry 
  Zearfoss of Lebanon, Richard, spouse of Erin Zearfoss of Annville, and James 
  Zearfoss of Lebanon; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 
  his wife, whom he married in 1946, Elizabeth P. Sebastian Zearfoss; brothers, 
  Dawson, Raymond, Harry, Sterling Zearfoss; and sisters, Mary Westhaffer and 
  Esther Zearfoss. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at 
  Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services 
  will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap 
  National Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to American Diabetes Association, 3544 
  N. Progress Ave., Suite 101 Harrisburg, PA 17110.
