Brennan, 84, of 510 Mine Road, died Thursday, May 20, 2010, in his residence. He was the husband of Dorothy M. Coburn Brennan, who died in 2002. Born in Clymer, on March 20, 1926, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Stern Brennan. Along with his wife, Jim was a houseparent at Milton Hershey Schools and then retired from the Transportation Department at Milton Hershey. He was also a self-employed truck driver in Apollo. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II. Jim was a member of Brownstone Lodge #666, F. & A.M., Hershey, Harrisburg Consistory, and the Zembo Temple Shrine. He was also an avid hunter, and enjoyed watching Westerns, and spending time with his family. Surviving are three daughters, Mary Lee, wife of Lou Naccarato of Apollo, Pamela J. Dunkleberger of Lebanon, and Diana L. Autrey of Coral Springs, Fla.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles A. Brennan and wife, Bette of Clinton, Ohio; and three sisters, Erma, wife of John Czyrny of North Tonawanda, N.Y., Nancy L. Dabrow of Enfield, Conn., and Millie J., wife of Gerald Mason of Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis M. Mowbray. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville, is in charge of arrangements.
