Brubaker, 81, died peacefully in his home on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. He was the husband of Eva Z. Martin Brubaker to whom he was married 60 years on October 1, 2009. He was born January 4, 1929, in Jackson Township, Lebanon County, a son of the late Norman A. and Lovina Gingrich Brubaker. He was a retired farmer and was former owner of the Brubaker's Clothing Store. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church, Myerstown, of the Weaverland Conference. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, Marlin, husband of Irene Brubaker, and Wilmer, husband of Rebecca Brubaker, both of Myerstown; daughters, Eleanor, wife of Ivan Martin, and Evelyn, wife of Edwin Martin, both of Myerstown; 28 grandchildren; 50 greatgrandchildren; brothers, Leonard, husband of Miriam Brubaker of Myerstown, and Irvin, husband of Mabel Brubaker of Ephrata; sisters, Pearl, wife of Harvey Good of Palmyra, Darlene, wife of William Martin of Ephrata, Thelma, wife of Raymond Martin of Myerstown, Ruth, wife of Paul Nolt of Lebanon, and Lorraine, wife of Leon Litzenberger of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by grandsons, Arlin, Ryan, and Matthew; and brothers, Melvin, Russel, and Warren. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 3, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church, Deep Run Road, Myerstown. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, Jackson Road, Lebanon. Please omit flowers.
