  Catherine G. "Cass" Deitz 
  
  Catherine G. Deitz LEBANON Catherine 'Cass' G. Deitz, 83, died Monday, June 7, 
  2010, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of William S. Deitz. 
  Catherine was born in Lebanon, on August 3, 1926, a daughter of the late 
  Catherine (Arnold) and John W. Hartman. She retired from the maintenance 
  department of the Lebanon Catholic High School after 28 years of service. She 
  was a 1944 graduate of Lebanon High School. She was a member of St. Mary's 
  Church, the Parish Council of Catholic Women and the Lebanon Senior Center. She 
  was a candy maker for the church and enjoyed picnicking on Sunday's at the Gap. 
  In addition to her husband William, she is survived by a son, John W. Deitz of 
  Lebanon; two grandchildren, Jessica Deitz of Lebanon, and Keith Deitz of 
  Venice, Calif. ; two sisters, Helen Mishoe and Beatrice Herr, both of Lebanon. 
  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Emma C. Caldwell; a grandson, Shane 
  Callahan; and a brother, Robert Hartman. Funeral Mass Friday morning at 10 a.m. 
  from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon, 17046. Interment at Holy Cross 
  Cemetery. Viewing hours Friday morning from 9 to 10 at the church. Thompson 
  Funeral Home, Inc., in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations 
  can be made to St. Mary's Church.
